The Personal Data Protection Law (Law 58/2019, of 08 August, hereinafter the “PDPL”) and the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, hereinafter the “GDPR”) ensure the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.

In accordance with the law, “personal data” is considered to be any information, of any nature and regardless of its medium, including sound and images, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. As a result, the protection does not cover data pertaining to legal persons.

ADD POINT maintains a database containing records of its customers. The data in this database are only those data provided by customers when signing up and are collected and processed automatically by ADD POINT, the entity responsible for the corresponding file, under the terms approved by the National Data Protection Commission. We guarantee that the personal data are processed correctly, lawfully and in accordance with best practice.

Under no circumstances shall information be requested on philosophical or political beliefs, party or union affiliation, religious faith, private life or racial or ethnic origin. Likewise, no data relating to health and sex life, including genetic data, shall be requested.

Moreover, the user consents to the accessing of information regarding the service contracted with ADD POINT for the purpose of offering additional services to the contracted party.

Any failure to respond shall not result in any decrease in the quality or quantity of the corresponding services (unless indicated otherwise). The collection and processing of data is carried out in a secure manner that prevents their loss or manipulation. All data shall be inserted into a Server that encrypts/encodes them (transforms them into a code). Users may verify that their browsers are secure if the padlock symbol appears or if the address starts with “https”, rather than “http”.

Personal data are treated with the legally required level of protection to guarantee their security and prevent their alteration, loss, unauthorised processing or access, taking into account the state of technology, and the user acknowledges and accepts that Internet security measures are not impregnable.

Store them using legally required security measures of a technical and organisational nature that guarantee their security, thus preventing their alteration, loss, unauthorised processing or access, in accordance with the state of technology at any given time, the nature of the data and the possible risks to which they are exposed;

Ensure that data are processed only by workers whose involvement is necessary for the provision of the service, who are bound by a duty of secrecy and confidentiality. If there is a possibility that the information may be disclosed to third parties, those third parties must be obliged to maintain due confidentiality in accordance with the provisions of this document.

COMMERCIAL AND PROMOTIONAL MESSAGES

One of the purposes for which we process the personal data provided by users is to send electronic messages containing commercial and promotional information.

Whenever we send a message of this type, it shall be directed exclusively to users who have previously and expressly authorised them.

  • to demand the limitation of the collection and use of their data, provided that the legal criteria are met – Right of Restriction of Processing;
