This document sets out pre-contractual information regarding contracts concluded at a distance on the www.addpoint.pt website, along with all subdomains/sub-websites, as referred to in Article 4 of Decree-Law 24/2014, of 14 February. The domain www.addpoint.pt is owned by ADD POINT, LDA, headquartered at Rua Mário Pinto, 35A in Massamá, a legal entity registered at the Commercial Registry of Cascais under the No. 506 468 380, hereinafter abbreviated to ADD POINT.
ADD POINT reserves the right to freely modify this pre-contractual information in order to adapt it to the applicable legislation, for which prior notice shall not be required.

We remind you that the legal age for making purchases on the Internet in Portugal is 18 years, in accordance with Decree-Law 24/2014 in force.

Both browsing the www.addpoint.pt website, its subdomains and sub-websites, and the purchase of any product at those addresses, presupposes acceptance of the present information and General Terms of Use shown on this page.

Terms of use of www.addpoint.pt

The User undertakes to use this website in compliance with the provisions of applicable legislation, refraining from using the website for activities contrary to the law, moral principles and common decency, or the rights and interests of third parties.
The www.addpoint.pt website may contain links to other websites, which may provide useful information/tools for its users. These general terms shall not apply to third-party websites. As such, should the user be redirected to another website from our website, the privacy policy of that other website should be read.

Amendment of these Terms

ADD POINT reserves the right to modify the presentation and content of the website, its services and the general terms of use at any time, unilaterally and without prior notice, with the exception of contracts already concluded and in the course of performance. These modifications shall serve to improve the website, simultaneously improving the services offered to users of the website who, should they fail to agree with the changes introduced, may terminate the contract.

Intellectual property

All content and information on www.addpoint.pt and its subdomains are the property of ADD POINT and therefore the use, reproduction, copying and dissemination by other means of the logos, texts, images and videos on that website is subject to prior authorisation to this effect.

Product Information

ADD POINT takes into account information regarding the essential characteristics of the products through technical descriptions shared by its suppliers and photographs and videos that illustrate the products sold, in strict compliance with the best standards in the market.
The photographs presented on the website are merely illustrative. As such, ADD POINT recommends that the Customer consult the detailed description of the product in order to obtain full information regarding its respective characteristics.

Pricing Information

The retail prices indicated on www.addpoint.pt and its subdomains are stated in euros.
VAT is included in all selling prices, in accordance with current legislation.
Shipping costs are payable by the user and buyer, and are added to the total value of the selected products. The user shall be informed of these charges before confirming the order and completing the purchase process. ADD POINT reserves the right to change prices at any time. However, ADD POINT undertakes to apply the rates and prices indicated when the purchase order is placed.
In the event of a computer, manual, technical, or any other error that causes a substantial change not foreseen by ADD POINT in the retail selling price, such that it becomes exorbitant or manifestly derisory, the purchase order shall be considered invalid and void.

Registration

Registration is not required to make purchases on our website www.addpoint.pt.
However, to make the most of our website, we recommend that you register with our online store before making your purchases by following the instructions shown.
All your data is kept secure and confidential.

Product availability
All items found on the www.addpoint.pt website are available for order. There is a limited stock of the items available at www.addpoint.pt, as a result of which they may become unavailable without prior notice.

Means of payment
– Multibanco reference

The most commonly used means of payment in Portugal, exclusively for holders of Portuguese bank accounts.
The Multibanco reference can be paid via Homebanking or at an ATM (Multibanco).
In the case of the Multibanco means of payment, the system cannot process refunds, so in these cases proof of the customer’s IBAN will be requested to process the refund of the payment by Bank Transfer.

MB Way
This app allows you to associate a debit or credit card with a mobile phone number to make purchases and instant payments. Refunds will be processed directly on the card used by the customer who made the payment.

Visa Card, MasterCard, Visa Electron
The most commonly used means of payment in the world. The customer enters the card data in the EASYPAY secure gateway and makes the payment immediately in the online store. Refunds will be processed directly on the card used by the customer who made the payment.

Paypal
PayPal is a secure payment method, as your credit card details are not transmitted to the various online stores. After finishing your purchase, you will be taken to the PayPal page to complete the payment. PayPal will then transmit us the information that your order has been paid for. Refunds will be processed directly in your PayPal account, and consequently on the card associated with your account.

Universo Flex
With Universo Flex, we offer our customers a way to pay in instalments with the Universo Card, in 3 interest free instalments or in 6/12 months with interest.

Santander Consumer Finance
Santander Consumer Finance is a method of financing your purchases. The process of subscribing to the loan is simple and digital. After choosing the payment method, submission and approval of the loan are completed online in minutes.
This financing method is available for sales totalling € 200 to € 6,000.

There may be costs associated with some forms of payment, which will always be stated before your order is processed.

Shipping Times

Expected shipping times for orders, after receipt of payment by 3 pm:
– Same-day shipping for products in stock;
– Next-day shipping for products in stock for which payment is received after 3 pm;
– Shipping in 2-3 days for products in transit, to arrive;
– Shipping in 3-4 days for products to order;
– Pickup at our Facilities – On the same day, at least 30 minutes after confirmation of payment, except weekends and public holidays.

Delivery Times

Expected delivery times for orders, after receipt of payment by 3 pm:
– Delivery within 24-48 hours to mainland Portugal;
– Delivery within 48 hours to Peninsular Spain;
– Delivery within 24 hours to various destinations in Europe, by Express airmail;
– Delivery in 3 to 5 days to destinations in Europe, by land.
– Delivery in 3 to 7 days to destinations in Madeira, the Azores and the Balearic Islands.

The delivery time for orders will at all times depend on the shipping method selected by the customer when placing the order, as per the different cost options presented, as well as the availability of the products or campaigns in effect.
An indication of the delivery time will be visible in the shopping cart, when selecting the desired zone and country for delivery.
The processing of orders placed at weekends and on national holidays will start on the next business day.

Postage or Shipping Costs

The Postage or Shipping Costs will be calculated automatically based on the weight of the products included in the order, and on the chosen destination.
Postage or shipping costs shall be borne by the Customer, unless otherwise stated, and shall be added to the total price of the products selected by the user. However, the customer shall at all times be informed of these costs and options before confirming the order and completing the purchase process.
For free delivery, the minimum order value must be € 49, valid for Mainland Portugal and Peninsular Spain.
This value may vary depending on the Product Category: Add Play, Add Style , Add Home and Add Teck.

Damage in transit

When a Customer receives a package, the condition of it must be checked immediately. If it is damaged in any way, the Customer must refuse immediately to accept the package from the carrier.
Report the situation to the Customer Support Line, using the email address: apoiocliente@addpoint.pt, indicating the order number.

In the event of acceptance of an order where the packaging is damaged, ADD POINT reserves the right to refuse any liability.

Charges and Taxes

The retail selling prices indicated on www.addpoint.pt and its subdomains are stated in euros.
VAT is included in all selling prices, in accordance with current legislation.
Ecovalor, Ecoree and Copyright Charges are included in the selling prices.

Product warranty

The items sold by ADD POINT on www.addpoint.pt are covered by the statutory warranty scheme, in accordance with the provisions of Article 5 of Decree-Law 67/2003, of 8 April, as amended by Decree-Law 84/2021, of 18 October.
The warranty period for products purchased at ADD POINT is 3 years from the invoice date.
Product damaged under warranty – contact our Customer Support Line using the email address apoiocliente@addpoint.pt, or by telephone (+351) 214 388 000 (Call to the national fixed network) – 9:00 am to 6:00 pm from Monday to Friday, which will help you to solve the problem.

Returns and Right to withdraw

If you purchased an item on www.addpoint.pt, you have a period of 14 days in which to return your order, freely, without having to indicate any reason, under the terms of DL 24/2014, of 14 February.
You may do so provided that the item is in the same condition as it was sold, as described below. The procedure is as follows:
Send an email to apoiocliente@addpoint.pt to report the return or fill in the Return Form under the Returns Policy section.
Should you require any further information, contact our Customer Support Line (+351) 214 388 000 (Call to the national fixed network) – 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, for information on shipping procedures.
IMPORTANT:
Never return an item to ADD POINT without giving notice via email, or filling out the Return Form under the Returns Policy section.

Items requiring activation (download cards and experiences) are not covered by the online store’s returns policy.
The return conditions are as follows:
1. Items must show no signs of use;
2. The complete item must be returned, with all its components and accessories, instruction manual, label(s) and original packaging in perfect condition;
3. A copy of the invoice must be included;
4. Period for Return: Within 14 consecutive days of the delivery date;
5. The transport costs resulting from the returns shall be payable by the customer. We do not accept cash against delivery for returns.
6. Returns may be made free of charge directly at our facilities.
Exclusions:
The following contracts are excluded from the right to withdraw, and may not be freely rescinded:
1) Goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised items;
2) The provision of sealed goods that cannot be returned, to protect health or for reasons of hygiene when opened after delivery;
3) The provision of goods which, after delivery and due to their nature, are inseparably mixed with other items;
4) The provision of sealed audio or video recordings or sealed computer programs, from which the consumer has removed the tamper-proof security label after delivery;
5) Provision of accommodation for non-residential purposes, transport of goods, car rental services, catering or services related to leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period for performance;
6) Supply of digital content not provided in a physical format with an obligation to pay when:
6.1) The consumer gives prior and express consent to the performance starting during the withdrawal period and recognises that this consent results in the loss of the right to withdraw; and
6.2) The digital content provider has provided confirmation, pursuant to Article 9 (2) or Article 6.

Refund
In the event of a return, the refund of the purchase price and any shipping costs you may have paid shall be made after validating compliance with the return conditions described above. For this purpose, ADD POINT shall have a period of 14 days from receipt of the equipment at our facilities.

ADD POINT does not refund additional delivery costs when a different and more expensive delivery method than the proposed standard method is expressly requested.
The amount of the purchase shall be refunded using the same payment method as was used by the consumer in the initial purchase.
In the case of the Multibanco means of payment, the system cannot process refunds, so in these cases proof of the customer’s IBAN will be requested to process the refund of the payment by Bank Transfer.

Liability
ADD POINT shall not be held liable for damages resulting from any computer virus or any other situations outside its control that prevent access to and the correct functioning of the domain www.addpoint.pt and the services made available therein.
